INSTRUCTORS

Marty Lehn—Owner and Director of the BLE Camps and Tournaments, Marty is a Scout for the Milwaukee Brewers and coached the Canadian Olympic Team at the 2004 Olympics. Complete Bio!



Jim Lawson—Drafted by and played in the Oakland A’s organization. Jim is a former pitcher for the Canadian National Team and is a coach at the National Sport Academy. Jim coaches at the BLE summer camps and is the owner of PRO BASEBALL FORCE in Calgary, Alberta. Complete Bio!

Chris Reitsma- Drafted by Boston Red Sox in the 1st Round in 1996, Chris was a reliever for Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners. Chris was a member of the 2008 Canadian Olympic Team. Currently Chris is the Head Coach at the National Sport Academy.

Chris Pritchett - Former Major League player with the Anaheim Angels and the Philadelphia Phillies. Chris was a hitting coach for the Oakland A’s organization and currently works with Twist Conditioning.

Pat “Grumpy” Phalen – NWAACC Hall of fame catcher out of Yakima Valley College.  Coach Grumpy is a Big League Experience Summer Camp Instructor and Baseball BC clinician and coach. Read complete bio, click here!

 

Dave Ruhr—Canadian National Team member from 1998-2002. Dave played with the Armstrong Atlantic State University in Georgia as well as the Allan Hancock Community College in California. Dave is an instructor at the BLE Summer Camp.

Darren Tecklenburg – Darren was inducted to the Huntington University Hall of Fame in 2002. Canadian National Team in 1990 and played college ball for Huntington University in Indiana. Darren is an instructor at the BLE camps.
